Some Notes
Before I give other projects a priority I’m going to make a few notes about my intentions for the development of this project.
As I began CAD modelling the table I had in mind my original development of ‘Organic Fabrication’ and here I was designing a four legged something so kept in mind four legged animal something’s. No animal in particular but I wanted to make the table look like it was mid stride. That is why the four legs are in different positions and angles and why the ‘rear’ top of the table becomes a bit more bulbous before it gets to the top – simulating the larger muscles of hind legs. Taking on board Daniel and Roberto’s feedback that a glass top was essentially a cop-out I made a top that more fits in with the rest of the table design, which I think needs further development, but has good potential. In keeping with the idea that the project is based on an animal, which is essentially cut in half longitudinally I’d like to incorporate more elements suggesting this in the top; for example using the circle tolerance holes referencing a spine.
For the next stage i will develop another larger table with these ideas in mind and also perhaps some seat-like or stool-like components to go with it. But this will take place after I further develop other projects
While I am developing other projects to try and keep all my projects at similar phases of development I will use the prototype that I have created to start talking to manufacturers and the like to open the lines of communication of what no doubt is going to be a hugely technical feat to build. I will be considering things like material (probably aluminium), surface finishes (probably powder coating or anodising), joining methods, tolerances in the bending process, and how exactly I am going to be able to make these bends that are correct to .005mm.
Please make some comments or I am going to wait until you’re really busy and stressed and pester you then in Studio.

Magnets?
String Theory by-product
As the resin began setting on the test below i played around with the remaining string with the by then very thick resin on it. I hung it up and it became reminiscent of Front's 3d drawing process without all the very expensive technology. I think i might play with this process a little more and see where it takes me
